A river of violet, caught mid-current — that is the tempo of this strand, where tumbled amethyst chips ripple in shades from pale lilac to deep aubergine. The current pauses around a baroque freshwater pearl at the throat, its irregular curve breaking the rhythm like a stone in the streambed. Punctuated by polished gold beads and a filigree sphere, the necklace settles with quiet weight against the collarbone.
